Are You Still Promoting Your Company’s Replicated Website?

If the answer to that question is yes, then I would advise you to stop doing so, immediately.  Promoting your company’s replicated website is not a wise thing to do. Why? Because most company replicated websites are not designed to capture a person’s attention and they don’t position you as a leader. Most replicated websites are only there for a person to feel good about having a website.

For example, I remember when I used to sell a travel program.  I had a company website but I didn’t have any control over what was placed on my website. To top it all off, the website promoted the company, not me. This is probably why I really didn’t make any sales on my website. So, I was paying $49.95/month for a replicated website that wasn’t making any sales. That made no sense!

As stated on one of my previous postings, your goal is to create You, Inc. That means that you have to create your own website where people can opt into you, not the product. Remember, people don’t care about your products, and people don’t join the companies. They join YOU. Which means, you have to take every opportunity you can to position yourself as a leader.

Your business is not your product or your service, your business is marketing. This means, if you want to be a heavy hitter in your industry (marketing), then you have to learn the abc’s of marketing.  What are you marketing, you ask?  YOU!

Let me repeat that: You are marketing, YOU!

Really good network marketers understand this concept. And it is important that you understand it as well, if you want to get ahead in network marketing.  That’s one reason why if you go to their websites, they talk about themselves and the business they created, not some company they are representing for the moment.

It is imperative that you understand that when you promote your company’s replicated website you are trying to sell someone from the very beginning. You haven’t given them any value, and more than likely, they don’t trust you either. I mean, would you do business with someone that you don’t know or trust? Probably not.  This is what makes network marketing so difficult in the beginning.  People think they need to focus their attention on the company.  That concept is absolutely destroying this industry.

I’m here to help change the perception of the industry & reveal the truth about how to make it work for you and how you can position yourself as a leader.  The trick is creating your own data capture website. Now, please don’t let this scare you because there are a lot of companies out there that have premade templates for you so you don’t have to know anything about html editing (click here to take a peak at the tool I use). As a matter of fact, when I got started I didn’t know anything about that stuff either. But I got better over time. The MLM Traffic Formula actually goes into great detail about this topic.

I have said this before, and I will say this again. Your main focus right now should be to create your own capture page where someone can opt into you. This way you control the lead funnel and you can build the trust you need to with your prospects before you try and sell to them or recruit them. But, if you send them to a company replicated website, you lost them.

There is actually another issue with sending people to replicated websites that is essentially more detrimental than the first one I pointed out.

When you send someone to a replicated website they see the company’s name in the address bar. Most people, will simply knock off the end of the website url, which is the part that actually identifies YOU and they will be routed directly to the main company site. At that point, they will enter their information in as a lead and someone else will get the sale or the recruit.

Why You Should Not Pursue Your Friends And Family Into Your MLM

Almost everybody in MLM knows the feeling of being avoided and/or rejected by friends & family. When you recruit friends and family, three things can happen … and two of them are bad:

1. They are successful in your business and your relationship strengthens.

2. They reject your idea and don’t want to join your business, and they’re annoyed at you for what they might see as trying to take advantage of them. This leads to tension at future family gatherings.

3. They do join you, and they fail. Result? See #2 above.

And then there’s another problem that often comes up. When you share your dream with people you care about, they often are sizing you up based on past experience. They’ve known you a long time. Maybe they’re jealous. Maybe your past success annoys them. Maybe your past failure helps them feel superior to you. Maybe they really don’t want to see you be successful.

Total strangers, on the other hand, have no bias. It’s a new relationship, and they often become your biggest fans. Unlike friends & family, their impression isn’t formed by what they know about you (or think they know).

None of us are perfect. We all have weaknesses. The idea is to succeed despite your limitations … and along the way, work at eliminating those weaknesses. To succeed, you will need others to follow your lead. It may well be easier for people who don’t know you to believe in you than it is for people who do know you.
And for sure, you don’t want to put yourself in a situation where you’re trying to lead people who’ve already decided they don’t believe in you.

Just one more reason why – for most people – it’s best to avoid recruiting friends and family until you already have built a successful business. THEN, if their perceptions of you are positive, invite them into your business.

Looking for Massive Success In Your MLM…Learn How To Automate Your Business

Most network marketers do the same types of activity day-in-day-out. Most of them achieve mediocre results because they focus on the wrong things.

I can remember setting up a prospecting schedule for myself. I thought that if I could talk to a lot of people, I would naturally recruit a lot of people. I did this cause my upline told me that I needed to speak to about 10 or more people per day about my business opportunity.  So for years I followed that principle, however, it resulted in a lot of hard work, but very little to show for it because, quite frankly, it wasn’t duplicable.

Most people in this industry don’t have the time or the energy to recruit the world. I don’t care what anyone says, burnout is going to occur if you follow that philosophy. So, the question is…
“How can a network marketer achieve the results they are looking for?”

Before I even answer that question I want to say this. My network marketing business became a business when I learned how to automate my business. At that point, I knew all I had to do was drive people to my lead funnel and let my business take over.

Now, I’m not talking about following the recruiting systems that a lot of the network marketing companies promote. I’m talking about sending someone to my own online capture page to capture their information, and through a set of automated e-mails, work the list that has been created. 

Now, the key to making this system work for you in a sleepy fashion is the following:
• Knowing how to create a data capture page,
• Using the correct copyrighting skills for promotion
• Giving people valuable information once they opt into your lead funnel
• Knowing the right way to promote your products or services
• And much, much more

Just think..wouldn’t you want to know how to automate your business? Think about how much easier it would be to recruit people after they entered into your lead funnel and requested information from you about your business.

Done right, this process can happen 24 hours a day. The people you would spend most of your time talking to would be the people that are requesting information about your opportunity. That makes this lead more than warm. That is a Smokin’ hot lead.

But I can’t stress it enough that there is a process for automating your business correctly. Now, I can sit here and tell you about some companies that you can use to send follow-up messages and do some other automated features, but if you don’t know how to do the entire process, then I would be doing you a great disservice.

You have to understand how to create the right business model.

Again, my goal is to teach you how to have MASSIVE success. The only way you are going to be able to recruit 10 to 20 people per week is if you automate the process.
